Liongate Construction Consultancy has been appointed to prepare a Construction Method Statement and a Construction Logistics Plan for a new single dwelling with a basement on an infill plot in Brent, North West London. Work is underway.

Our appointment

The site is a narrow infill plot on an established residential street, where a new house with a basement will be built and trees on and around the plot are to be retained. Brent Council granted planning permission for the dwelling in September 2026, before our appointment; that permission is not our work.

The Construction Method Statement responds to the permission's pre-commencement requirement. It will set out how dust, noise and other environmental effects of the works are controlled to protect neighbouring residents.

The Construction Logistics Plan is a revised plan required by the permission. It will clarify how the crossover outside the site boundary is used, how excavated soil leaves the site, how traffic is managed and where wheel washing takes place, together with a construction site layout plan.

Both documents are being prepared alongside the project's approved tree protection measures, so that access, storage and excavation are planned around the retained trees. Liongate was appointed in October 2026; the documents have not yet been submitted to or approved by the council.
