Construction Consultant, Civil Engineer

Charlie Abdullah is a civil engineer and the founder of Liongate Construction & Consultancy, established in Cambridge in 2016. He leads both sides of the business, construction delivery and planning consultancy, and has overseen more than 65 projects across the UK.

On the construction side, Charlie has directed commercial and residential projects across London and Cambridge. His background also covers project, programme and risk management, as well as planning and scheduling support, preparing tender and baseline programmes for contractors in the UK and Europe.

On the consultancy side, he leads Liongate’s planning-condition reporting practice, covering Construction Management Plans, environmental and logistics documentation, and traffic and transport assessments, working with over 40 local authorities from London boroughs to national parks. His combination of hands-on construction experience and planning know-how means Liongate’s reports are grounded in how sites actually run.
