Billing Brook School Project

Liongate prepared a Construction Management Plan with dedicated air quality and noise controls at its core. Working methods and hours were set around the school day, construction traffic was routed and scheduled to avoid drop-off and pick-up peaks, and dust suppression and monitoring arrangements were specified so that classrooms and play areas stayed protected throughout the works.

Building next to a live school is one of the most sensitive construction settings there is — the plan gave the council and the school confidence that the works could proceed safely alongside the school day.
